Everything about Starfleet Command totally explained
STARFLEET Command is an international
Star Trek fan association that claims a world-wide membership dedicated to the
Star Trek television and movie series. It serves members on three continents, called Quadrants, located in the
U.S., the
UK and
Asia.
STARFLEET Command (capitalized to distinguish it from the fictional
Starfleet Command of the
Star Trek Universe) traces its existence to the
USS Enterprise Fan Club started by a group of friends located in
Lufkin,
Texas in
1974. Today the fan club headquarters are located in
Indiana.
There have been seven (7) known presidents of STARFLEET Command with the first three shared by
STARFLEET International:

- John Wetsch (1983-1987)
